East of Marbella centre and still within its municipal boundaries, the two districts of Carib Playa and Marbesa are much sought after beachside locations for property investors and home owners on the Costa del Sol. However, some of Marbella’s best beachfront restaurants are located directly within Marbesa and Carib Playa. They include Simbad El Marino, Triana, Le Papillon, Club 200 and Restaurante Rama to name but a few. Cabopino Marina to the east also boasts a great selection of restaurants and bars while partygoers may prefer to head for the bright lights and funky DJs at Nikki Beach, just next door to the five-star deluxe Hotel Don Carlos in Elviria. The area is also home to a tennis club while golf aficionados will appreciate several quality courses nearby at Cabopino, Santa Maria, Santa Clara and Rio Real.
